light vs dark pics.....

Saw some were showing their night colors last night so snapped a few pics. Also got a daytime pic of one for comparison.

Daffy at Night...

And Daffy again today with darker colors

Savannah showing a hint of white sides...

And Amber was extra white for some reason....

Those are interesting contrasts, is it normal for a BRB to have white come out at diferent times? Or is it a something you bread into them?

Sorry for all the question, just trying to figure out what type of BRB to go with.

Most Rainbow Boas will display lightening of the colors on the sides. Most often (nearly always) more at night. Mature animals do it more than young ones. Females generally do it more than males. Brazilians and Colombians do it more than Peruvians. Hard to tell about Argentinians as they are pretty much white sided all the time but they do lighten up a little at times.

they all look great, I love when they show their white sides, but Amber, WOW the white sides with the almost all black crecents, just one word, amazing!!
