Almost set my backpack down on this yearling. Excellent example of how well their camouflage works

A nice broad-banded water snake. this was very laid back, didn't try biting at all when picked up

a nice yellow-bellied water snake. don't get to see many of these. they are usually out in the middle of the water on a log or in the tall grass

obviously not a herp but always cool to see

That is a Luna Moth, the best of the silk moths!
