We're really the most highly evolved?

Obviously, this has been everywhere lately, but read the comments from the idiot masses. Everyday there's something that makes me embarassed to be classified with a failing species.

That article indicates nine species of snakes exceed twenty feet in length. I hate to show my ignorence, but I can only think of retics, burms, green anacondas, and I'm not sure but maybe indian and african rocks. What else exceeds tewnty feet?
