ZooMed, T-Rex, Or Fluker's Heat Pads ???

Sarge2004 Oct 27, 2009 09:43 PM

For years I have used the old style Exoterra Heatwave pads with great success and still have many of them heating my boas and pythons. Their new design pads suck-even the so called "desert" ones and I can't get enough heat out of them.

So, I need a new brand of heat pads. What is good, safe, and puts out good heat. I am looking at Zoomed, T-rex, and Fluker's. Sorry, I don't do flexwat. Thanks for your help-Bill.

Thanks Mark. Out of urgency I went to my local chain pet supply store and bought a ZooMed pad. It is thinner than I remember the ZooMeds from years back. It is working perfectly-I am getting the temp I need at one fourth the wattage I was running the inadequate Exoterra. The ZooMed has an over-heat shut off feature which I like. Bill
