Is a Argus right

Hi everybody I have a question regarding Argus monitors. I own a savanah monitor so i am not completely oblivious to monitors but i was wondering if these monitors casn be tamed. I have been looking into there care and from what I have read I have heard that they are not easy to tame and really do not like to be held. if anyone has any first hand info regarding the taming of these animals please let me know and i would greatly appreciate it. thanks to all

No healthy argus will like to be held. People like me that own them like them because they are active, curious, have a great feeding response, and sometimes stand on their back legs. If you get one expecting to be able to hold it with out it trying to get away, you will be disappointed in it.
