hey everyone,
i have a 1600 gram female that i have had breeding for about a month now, i typically have the male in with her for about 24 hours after i witness a lock up sometimes longer. this female is still eating strongly and my question is: what will be the first signs she is pregnant? will she stop eating first or will i notice she's thicker or hugging the water bowl?

The first sure sign is a good ovulation swelling-but you're still early on in the process, and it could well be another three months or so before that happens.

Hugging the water bowl is a good sign that things are progressing satisfactorily so far, but far from a sure sign of gravidity.
