These guys are not easy to photograph


A better technique might be to have the snakes stretched out with a dirt background so that the pattern does not compete against itself but this guy was trying to take off on me and with all those yellow leaves I was not going to allow him to go far.

Yeah, finding that dude in all the yellow leaves and dark shadows would be a real challenge to say the least..LOL!

I've done outside shot's of some milks before, that were by some things that I thought to myself,...."if this thing gets away into those bushes, it will be gone FOREVER never to be seen again..LOL!

Luckily that didn't happen, but I was alert and ready to snap them up at a moments notice with my free hand.

Always pays to be ready for the expected unexpected..LOL!
