Arabesque is not a weak gene that we know of.... I have a 2004 arabesque het albino female that was nearly breeding size at 2 years old. Never refuses a meal and grew like mad. She is now over 7' and 26lbs on empty. I wouldnt worry too much about over feeding your arabesque.

The fact that it is spitting up food, give it a week or 2 without even trying to offer any food. Let it's stomach settle, then try a very small item. I believe you said you were giving hopper mice? Try a smaller hopper, maybe even a fuzzy. Let that item digest completely and slowly work your way up to bigger items over a few weeks/months.

As far as why don't we see supers yet.... thats a good question. It's unknown if a super form of arabesque even exists. Several people have done arab x arab breedings, all of the babies look like normal arabesques without a definitive super form such as the motley gene provides. but I dont know of anybody breeding those offspring to prove it out as a super or not. The common belief as of right now leans more toward the arabesque gene not having a super.

But for your main problem being feeding, once you get your arab started on food without throwing up, i wouldnt worry about how much you are feeding it, feed it like everything else, I always have with my arabs, and have never had a problem.

ive herad of arabs being like this and even had one thats doing the exact same thing youres is doing and what i suggest doing wich is what mike weitzman recomenended for me to do when i had the problem is give him/her nuti-bac it really is great stuff and worked great on the arabesque that i had and he never had another problem. i keep it on hand all the time these days.. as a matter of fact i used it on a little 09 female jungle a couple months back after a regurge i wait 10 days then give them a dose and dont worrie you cant overdose them on it. anyway it worked great again on the little jungle it just helps to repair the snakes system alot faster. as for the arabs being a weak gene i dont know allthough i have heard this on more than 1 occassion. you can also inject the fuzzy/hoppers with the nutri-bac as long as the snake will feed i usually give them a straight dose then inject there first few meals afterwards

After overhearing your problem I would have to agree with the others. Don't feed the little guy for a week or two and then feed him a fuzzy. Also not sure if you are keeping him housed alone but I have heard of babies regurging after being housed with siblings. Who knows maybe the movement and stress of brothers and sisters crawling all over them can cause them to gurge. Hopefully this helps. I have an 05' arabesque female that is a huge pig as well and has never gurged. Baby him and I think that you should be fine. Also I would check out this nutribac stuff I know I am.

Here is our big girl getting ready to cool on the 15th.
