A couple Pastel Sunglow shots:

Finally, a camera worthy of the beauty that is in these Pastel Sunglow babies.

Jeff,

Congrats on the new camera....

I love that pastel bloodline. Those animals are spectacular representations of the sunglow. I can't wait to see them morph into adulthood!!!

Nikon D90, it's the best of the best. My wife has one, she loves it. Now if I can just get her to take some pics of our snakes!

The Nikon D90:

Nikon Nikkor 60mm f-2.8D AF Macro Lens

These are great tools. The other intangibles are these:

- Getting the animals to pose for maximum flattery.
- Taking the picture at the correct angle and at the correct moment.
- Learning to take the shots with the new camera, that you want, without dissecting the user manual, which is a must for those who are functionally illiterate, like me. A user manual that explains how to use a tool that probably makes sense to someone who speaks Photography 101.
- Having subjects that make it hard to make a mistake due to their beauty. Priceless...

This was literally about the forth shot I took with this camera:

That was beginners luck, but eventually it starts to come into focus...
