Breeding conditions?

jack2682 Oct 31, 2009 04:30 PM

Hey all,

I'm new to breeding. I have my pastel male and my normal female together in a vision cage (3 days on 4 off or so). Their first two encounters made for lots of interesting breeding behavior, lots of movement, tail wagging. Lately not so much...and I've never witnessed a lock. Should I just be patient here....

The Female has refused the last two offered meals
The male refused the last meal (though he is in shed cycle)

Thanks for any input!!

Hi,

Yes patience is a plus with breeding...The harder you try the less you get done. Just relax and let nature take its course. They will breed when they are ready.
