snake neglect

DMong Nov 02, 2009 10:00 AM

This was a recent article about a blatant case of neglect that ended in the needless death of a so-called "pet" snake.

Okay, so nevermind the other stuff that they are trying to talk there way out of in the article, what about the very obvious cruddy-ass water bowl to the right that is obviously without clean water, or ANY water for that matter, and looks gross beyond belief?

Not much they can say to defend that!,....I wonder if they are any relation to Saddam Hussain who was also notorious for his torture?

RSPCA officers said the snake "smelled like it had been burned"

WTF

Yeah, doesn't sound like those owners have their heads screwed on right for sure.

Unfortunately, only the snake ended up paying.........as usual!

Very unfortunate. While it is very likely that the snake was neglected before the owners got it I agree with you that the state of the enclosure is inexcusable. Yes, I admit that my water dishes are not always spotless and you can't always prevent your animals from filling the dishes with whatever the tank substrate is but seriously, that's just a cup of moist soil.

Exactly!,.....

Some additional irony is the fact that the people even took the time to make the neglected torture tank look nice and "jungle"-like with a back drop for the aquarium. But I'm sure that was bought initially for it when the snake was still an exciting novelty.

Very obvious that didn't last too long....
