Trying to figure out what kind of snake i have. She was sold to me as a hypo cal king. What's the difference between hypo and albino because I think she might be an abberant or desert phase albino. would post pics but haven't quite figured it out yet. Any info or pics would be helpful.

Hypo means hypomelanistic (reduced black pigment-melanism)
It is a type of albino....The black pigment will be slightly visible and look grayish or silver in coloration.

I also believe that lavender albinos are just more extreme hypomelanistics.....The black will look lavender/purplish in color.

The most common and well known of all albinos is the amelanistic trait. Amelanistic means the absence of black pigment-melanism)

Calkings phenotypes are available in the hobby in many patterns including abberant, banded, striped, spotted, reversed striped, etc...

Desert phase is the common term for a black and white specimen.
Coastal phase is the common term for a dark brown and cream yellow specimen....
