Hypo means hypomelanistic (reduced black pigment-melanism)
It is a type of albino....The black pigment will be slightly visible and look grayish or silver in coloration.
I also believe that lavender albinos are just more extreme hypomelanistics.....The black will look lavender/purplish in color.
The most common and well known of all albinos is the amelanistic trait. Amelanistic means the absence of black pigment-melanism)
Calkings phenotypes are available in the hobby in many patterns including abberant, banded, striped, spotted, reversed striped, etc...
Desert phase is the common term for a black and white specimen.
Coastal phase is the common term for a dark brown and cream yellow specimen....
