Fire Ball Pythons?

scaledverts Nov 03, 2009 02:55 PM

Hello

An acquaintance of mine has an odd looking female ball python that people keep telling her is a fire. She asked my opinion and I asked her for pics to post on the forum. I don't know all the morphs that well but they don't look like fire's to me what do you guys think? Also, these babies came from the possible fire female (in shed right now) and a granite male. The pictures are not the best, but you get the general idea.

Thanks for your expertise,

Kyle

These pics are just after shed and the babies are ~2 weeks old.

You will see quite a bit of variability in the fires, even within the same clutch. I think there is a good chance there are fires there (Yes, the pictures certainly could be better). She should get a fire male to breed to her adult female. I believe she would have a good shot at producing the black eyed leucistic.

Belly pics would help. I am 80% NOT a BEL animal. But one is never sure until you breed them.
