i am working on my calls as i type this.. I have also informed my college classmates as well as trachers who will also be calling i hope. I am in a zookeeping program and there are a lot of snake lovers in my classes!

I called them all, and I have to tell you, the only one that didn't have the courtesy to listen to the reasons why I objected to the bill was the congresswoman from TX! (Shelia Jackson) Her "person" hung up on me and I was being really nice, really!
I think you guys need to spend more time with her! LOL

I made my calls. Some of them were tough cookies and didn't care to listen to my concerns. Some were responsive though.
I hope everyone made their calls and kept the phones ringing.

I had similar reactions. Whether my wording was off or what, this time I started each conversation with "hello, I would like to make a statement regarding upcoming legislation" when I did this I seemed to receive the attention all voting citizens deserve.
