Mex Mex from wild blood....

Jlassiter Nov 03, 2009 09:20 PM

I was fortunate enough to acquire this pair this season....
They are from wild animals confiscated at the Texas / Mexico border...
A few select people/agencies were allowed to have some of them.
I was able to acquire a pair years back from John Cherry and Mike Price....

These two come from that line....they have NO locality data, but are from wild blooded Mex Mex that have not been outcrossed into any other Mex Mex lines....

I like the DARK Burgundy male and the classic look of the female....

Thanks Doug....He has some NICE color for sure....

Just to make something clear....these are not the ones that were confiscated....

These originally came from Mike Price in San Angelo, TX. Mike Price and John Cherry were a couple of folks that were allowed to have some of these animals....

These hatched from some that were confiscated...So They are non locality wild blooded Mex Mex...

Right, I understand. I basically meant it was good they went to John Cherry and Mike Price, instead of a far worse fate that many other siezed animals are typically put in.

Good luck with that project too!

Locality or not, they're great looking animals. What a great opportunity to be part of a new (or at least newer) bloodline.

You know, there's a million fine looking women in the world, dude. But they don't all bring you lasagna at work. Most of 'em just cheat on you.

I'd give another finger to be able to see that in the wild! That female is awesome!

Todd...
I thought you knew this already....
These snakes aren't poisonous....LOL

Amazingly I've gotten more compliments on that female (many emails and other forums) than I did concerning the dark burgundy male. I like her crisp colors, but I still think the male has a lot of characteristics not seen from Mex Mex in our hobby. The female is characteristic of the Valley de los Fantasmas, but I've never seen one like that male......
