Bumblee Recipe

gzgraph Nov 03, 2009 10:57 PM

Ok, now that I'm back into ball pythons, AGAIN, my favorite morph is the bumblebee. So here's the million dollar question, what do you guys/gals think makes the cleanest and brightest bumblee? I've got to assume using the cleanest and brightest pastel with the lowest amount of speckling is the key, how important is the spider in this mix? Any thoughts and ideas would be appreciated, along with some pics! Thanks.
Ken

Ken,

I too like bumble bees.

Here is a female that I held back this year that fits my perception of what a nice bumble bee should look like. Her father is a very nice bumble bee and her mother is a very light colored spider with a huge amount of white coming up her sides.

Here is a photo taken just minutes ago of the mother. She weighs about 2000 grsms.

Brian that female looks like she's hungry lol..

OP choose selectively for your breeding projects and you will get quality babies..nice pastel that has kept it yellow with little browning and a nice clean bright spider and your all set..
