I have a dwarf pixie & a pacman. I read somewhere that frogs can get impacted from the skin of mealworms. Is this true? If so, wouldn't it be true for superworms as well? Currently I'm feeding crix, earthworms & superworms.

Chiton in the exoskeleton of Tenebrio and Zoophobas can infact impact frogs if fed too often. Try to add nightcrawlers and possibly hissers in there. Hissing cockroaches are easy to keep and breed and are one of the best food items on the market for all large frogs. Andy

Just make sure that they aren't illegal in your state. They are here in FL.

how would i breed hissing cockroaches?
thye breed by themselves if u give them food. thats what mine have done twice. but maybe theres a way to make them breed dont ask me
Where can you get the Roaches at? and whats the price?
Most exotic stores will have them as will online food retailers. Try places like mulberryfarms or wormman. Places like that. Good luck. Andy

Ewwww! I'm yucked out enough by those nasty superworms, no way I could handle cockroaches! I'm giving my frogs nightcrawlers (how does one gutload a nightcrawler, by the way? Or do you?), crix & supers. I tried fish, but it didn't work out.
