Through the wonder of the internet I ran into a heckuva gem a couple weeks back. There was an ad on (of all places) Craigslist in my area for an 'albino' corn snake...well, it's true he's amel but sooooo much more.

After a few emails back and forth with Ico's original owner she dropped this genetic bombshell on me -- the snake she wanted a trivial amount(I'll tell if you really want to know...just understand I can't pick up even a hatchling for 3 times what I paid for him!!) for was an OPAL!!! He's not the most colorful I've seen but defiantly an opal nonetheless, complete with original receipt from MoReptiles!

I almost felt guilty picking him up(along with his favorite hide, bedding and the leftover f/t mice) but am ever glad I had that cash on me lololol!

Congrats! He's very nice looking. I got my first Opal this year and am thrilled with her. I love Lavenders and Lavender mixes. I think I got her for a good price, I paid $50 for her. Sounds like you got an even better deal on your male! That's awesome!
