Hey guys --

Barker and Barker (1994) contend that water pythons are "fast-growing and capable of sexually maturing in as little as one-and-a-half years" (29). I was just wondering if this has been the experience of the breeders on this forum. My female will be three years this season and I have a similarly-sized male I could pair her with. Still, she seems drastically smaller than what I would ever consider "breedable" in other python species. If anyone has any comments or suggested I'd be very interested. Thanks!

Brad
