I personally dont know anyone willing to risk their females and breed at the low weight. You should just wait to breed your snake.

I'm not a big breeder, but I had an 18 month old 1200g spider lay 8 good eggs for me in 2007. She took last year off, but should go this year. She already locked up with a bumblebee and is starting to get her glow. I also had a normal aroung 1300g lay 5 good eggs at 18 months and 1300g.

I would venture to say that the vast majority of large breeders have successfully bred females smaller than that. I know I have.

I would not, however, recommend it to a beginner-some females are just naturally "small" and seem to attain maturity at a smaller size. You have to look at the proportions of the individual animal, along with age.
