i have a 5 year old burm and I recently adopted her from an aquientance that could no longer take care of her. i have kept large snakes my whole life and am familiar with eating habbits, care, etc.. before i aquired her she had not been fed for 2 months (financial reasons and pure neglect). i have had her for 5 days now and decided to offer her a live rabbit (her usual diet). she seemed interested at first then seemed almost annoyed. i kept the rabbit in her enclosure with her for an hour then gave up and took the rabbit out.
what am i doing wrong? and what is a good way to get her to eat?
