Nice mix of Mystics from 09

anthony james mc Nov 07, 2009 04:49 PM

Thought this pic turned out pretty good. The Mystic Yb seemed to care less about having his pic taken but other than that the others seems up for it today! I have a really nice newborn female Potion I would have added in there but she is still in shed otherwise she would have also went well in this Mystic group shot.

I'm working at this camera stuff but it isn't easy, lol...

I'd love to see a shot of this years potions with the original potions to see how they color up as they get older. Also, the female you just produced-is that the first female potion you've hatched? I seem to remember you mentioning a lot of males hatching, but no mention of a female.

Actually I did make a couple female Potions as well.

The Potions will vary as will the Super Mystics to some degree I think. So it really isn't fair to compare them just by size and age differences I don't think.

He's one of the first Potions , he was born back in febuary so he's the oldest one out there. I think he's a looker myself!

Nice seeing those that came to the Des Moines show today. I had a nice time chatting with folks about Ball genetics! Also thought Jim from Sw did a nice job running the Des Moines show for the first time as well!

to me as well Anthony!!

The Caramel Mojaves also differ by animal and are CHANGING SO MUCH as they age that it is difficult to compare unless they are from the same clutch or pics from the same age and different clutch.

I love the eye color of the Potion -- WICKED!!!!!

Well thanks Bill , I appreciate that man!

I was just being honest about comparing them when they are pretty variable all on their own!

Take care,

Anthony

For comparison here is the other Potion I made back in Febuary, this one and the one posted just above are full sibs. Note the fact that they are NOT identical to each other! I like the variability myself , keeps it interesting!
