I think he is a sable, but I welcome other thoughts.

Not the best picture as the Sable's pattern is key in noticing it but I am inclined to say no it is just a normal

So, anyone out there care to share a belly pic of a sable, so that we newbies know what to look for?

thanks to all! I am happy to know that he is a normal.

btw, I didn't buy him. He was a rescue from my back yard! Just before my birthday, I noticed a cardinal behaving oddly and went out to see what was going on. My wife noticed the snake before I did. He is almost 5' long and in excellent health. I have always wanted a snake and he just slithered into my back yard! Happy Birthday! I put up a sign for a found snake and got no hits from it. Left it up for a week. He must have either escaped or been let go. Anyway, he is very happy and will be getting a new terrerium on Sunday.

The reason I thought he was a sable was due to limited pictures online to know the difference. Now I know thanks to Tosha.

Eric, are you still working with Sables/Super Sables? If so, do you have combos in the works that you can/will talk about?
