No help or Input? Help Previous Post

Marko1 Nov 09, 2009 04:08 PM

Poted yesterday in hope that someone would have some input on my situation. The 2 pairs I have going are still courting. Now the EBV Red Group female is bundled up in the corner ( no intrest almost looks mad). The male is still trying he is leaving spurm all over the place. Should I leave him in. Could she just not want to breed at all? 2 years of her doing this. Last year maybe I could understand ( I pulled the male) but not this year she is an early 05'easy 6 ft. close to 16 lbs. Need some advice. Thanks

Markos

Clearly not receptive at this time. I'd pull the male for now and try again in a week or so. Maybe even with a different male? She might not be one of those easy girls??

I have another male, Just wanted him to do the Job. Should I put both in? From your experience have you had difficult girl eventually cooperate? Thanks for the reply. Needed some help.

Honestly, I don't know. Problem IMO with the second male scenario is which one or both get the job done and for each individual baby, whta's it's genetics? In your case it's the female not receptive, I wouldn't think a second suitor would help like it does to get a male to breed.

Have you done all your cooling? Are you sure he has not already done the deed. My male swill stilltry but she will push away. I would seperate him for at least two weeks and try again. She may just not be ready for his advances. And just to be sure maybe even after the second attempt if the same thing happens have some one else re-sex them. If they are old enough and you have done your cooling with time she sould accept him. Hope this helps and good luck

They are deff male and female. did my cooling. Are my temps ok now? Should I have cooled her more? They have only been together 2 days lol. She stopped pissing urinating and smaking her tail all over, now she is bunddled up with him lying on top trying to get to that tail. His head is on top of hers. Thanks for the help.
