hydrating

There is a girl on another forum that needs to hydrate her dragon and put weight back on it. She is using dragon pellets and electrolyte as well as baby food. These things are all giving the dragon diarreah. That is kinda defeating the purpose. Suggestions? There isn't much help on that forum for her.
History..the dragon had something dropped on it, and was put on antibiotics for awhile...I don't really know why antibiotics? The vet didn't warn her that the antibiotics would dehydrate, and she started seeing crystals in the urine. The dragon has not shown intrest in food since the treatment. She has given acidophylus.

How long does she soak the pellets for? If I soak the pellets for too long for one of my dragons, she gets diarrhea. What a mess that makes! I had a fecal done and she came up clean as can be. I reduced the time that I soak them to 4 minutes and everything is back to “regular”. Tell her good luck and I hope this helps…

She was actually mashing them up and adding a bunch of electrolyte to them. The dragon was VERY dehydtated, and the pellets were just to make it easier for him to drink his pedialyte... So I guess you could say they were OVER moist. I don't see how this would cause his bowel movements to be so loose though. I will suggest not using the pellets anymore until we figure this out.
