Ok question, when the snakes stop eating on their own for the winter I'm assuming leave them be and don't handle?

I mess with mine during the winter and they still breed during the spring. I wouldn't make it a habit to pull them out everyday or anything, but occasionally handling and inspecting them seems fine.
