Wow Jon, all I can say is I thought I had a great year but you had a fantastic year! Milks, an anery hog, and that weird ringneck were tops, but add all the other cool stuff and it was a banner year! How you gonna top that, lol?!

Thanks!! I don't know if I'll be able to top it, but I'll sure give it hell!!

That post contains two snakes that I've been trying to find for a few years: Mountain Kings and Rubber Boas. The variety of rattlesnakes you came across is impressive and your photography skills are excellent.

That one hognose looks anerythristic.

Nice post!

Thanks!! Both of those snakes eluded me for a few years as well. But like most others, they are pretty easy to find, once you figure them out.

That hognose doesn't just look anery. Here is another pic of him.

Thanks!! And sure. If you ever in the Salt Lake area, shoot me an e-mail.

No problem! Sometime in the near future, as I want to see as much of the Southwest as I can. And of course, I need to find dark skies for my telescope as well!

Thanks man!! I try to take a ton of shots of each animal I find. that way I have a good chance that at least one will be good.. LOL

The anery has eaten like a champ from the first attempt. He ate unscented f/t from the start and hasn't missed a beat. He actually feeds better than some of my c.b. westerns. He has nearly doubled in weight. He was 23 grams last night.

that ridgenose....omg you lucky person.

Im sure some luck comes into play, but the hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars I spend each year probably helps too. LOL..
