need advise

I just adopted a 4yr old ball python. The cage is a 60 gal terrarium with bark substrait. What should I change or add? There is clombing logs and a large water bowl. A large cave with a heating pad under tank. Does he/she need to to soak? How do I tell if he is a she or not? Is this a comunity animal or a loner? Thanks......

No, not community animals. Loners.
Get the thermometers and humidity equipment you need to make sure all of the cage conditions are correct.
