I am planning on going to Costa Rica for Christmas and I was trying to find out if it is legal to collect and ship herps from there. Is there a website or herp society there that would have that legal info available, so I can find out if I need any permits or if I can do it at all? I'm mainly interested in collecting and shipping dart frogs from there to Texas. Any info would be appreciated.
