frozen rats

Can anyone reccommend a good dealer?
I have heard so many horror stories about bad unhealthy rats making snakes sick or worse killing them...

I order all my frozen rats and mice from RodentPro.com. I have never had any problems with anything i have received from them, they come completely frozen, packaged very well in ziplock bags and packed in dry ice. My snakes have never gotten sick from anything from RodentPro and i have been ordering from them for 2 years now Hope this helps you out!!!!

I was told to watch out for the Wholesalers. Those with mass rodents, tend to be lower on the toden pole on cleaniness. Dont go with the cheapest place around. Better to pay for quality when dealing with feeders. Find a smaller breeder who feeds the rodents top quality grains. A bit more expensive but worth the investment. Oh, and stay away from them jumbo rat belly rats.. I lost a Burm a few years back from those, and burms are more hardy then boas when it comes to feeders.

BTW- I know a guy who ate at McD's everyday. He bought food on the dollar menue. And let me tell you how healthy that 260lb guy is. Oh, he is still alive BTW

thanks for the input guys. I used to deal with a local breeder but he is no longer breeding which really sucks!

I agree. if you are willing to pay fro quality, then Edna at themousefactory.com has been feeding all my boas for years. Try that. But I think you all will agree... shipping $$$$$$$$$$ are way to High. Anyway hope that helps

I agree that shipping is a lot, but it's worth it in the end to get quality rodents to feed our babies. That's why i always try to order everything i need at once,to fill the box, since shipping is the same whether you order just one bag of whatever feeder you need at the moment, or you think economically, and order enough feeders to fill the shipping box.
