Here is one of our NORMAL harlequins

Asnakesview Nov 16, 2009 12:41 PM

We have noticed that the harlequin gene has not gotten enough credit because a lot of people seem to be purchasing one harley and breeding them to unrelated animals which they then will sell the babies as "harlequins". Only to be bred later to something and not get near as nice of harlequins that others have seen simply because those babies in turn will only be 25% harlequin blood. This animal is a 50% harlequin blood animal that was produced from a 100% harlequin non hypo animal to a normal Columbian. So you see as long as you make sure your harlequin lines you are buying are strong then you are going to be nothing but happy with the results. This is an example of what a 50% harlequin blood animal can look like. We are in the process of raising up some crazy super hypos and hypos that should make some of the nicest double dose orange tail harlequins we have seen. All of which are pure 100% harlequin orange tail hypos and super hypos. We will keep our fingers crossed and you will be the first to know. Here he is....

This is Damien he is a 08' 1.0 normal harlequin
DOB 2/29/08 Produced by Brendan Magee POL of this particular litter.
