I went to a local show this weekend and some guy was selling these for $10 each as non-feeders...I picked up a pair just for kicks.

Guess I got a decent deal...

Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

They were sold as black kings.

The yellow on them is intense. I thought black kings had more of a white/light yellow banding as hatchlings.

Eastern X Black intergrades. They kind of have a very generic getula look to them.

yep they were sold as L. g. nigra.

I am not to familiar with how they look when they are newly hatched. Any I have seen in person were adults. The guy said he hatched them out about two weeks ago. I would love to see some other hatchling pictures to compare and color progression shots if anyone has some.
