Nice. In Florida, we are not permitted to work with normals. Though, it is always nice to see them.
Did you pick that up at the Anaheim show?

Thanks Nick, of course this one, albeit purportedly "Lemke" line, is probaby F-one million and without any reliable "locale" data. Was hoping someone would post some naturals...heck, does anyone here even keep naturals?
I have a pair that should have gone last year but didn't so I am hoping for babies in 2010.....
My pair are a sibling pair from an unrelated pair with Jacksonville, Duval Co. FL locality. A veterinarian friend of mine has the adults that were collected in relatively the same area....
There are fantastic looking snakes especially the female.. I would have been very happy with a locality pair no matter what they looked like so I was very pleased when the little girl colored up for me. I have Dr. Billy G. to thank!!!!!!
You can really see the colors in the female with the male as contrast. Don't get me wrong, he is a beautiful looking "typical" type, but he pales in comparison!!!!

Very nice, thanks John. Sure would like to be on the list for 2010...even at the bottom
I had some Ocala locale S.Pines that I started breeding in the early 90's. They were great breeders and one the biggest mistakes I have ever made was not keeping any back except for one female. After about 16 years of age the original pair died and I sold the the lone female....I wished I had kept back more. This is an old photo of the original female.

nice looking animal....
I was really impressed with the animal we photographed in the wild last summer as well. Her locality just a bit south of where your breeders came from. They really match the slightly oxidized white sand substrate of those uplands........
she was a fantastic animal, very relaxed and calm while we took pictures...
here is one of about 100 images we took of her. About 20 minutes later we encountered a big, nicely colored male.... unfortunately we got there after about 20 other cars had turned him into snake road pizza.... what a major waste!
DOR's and HBC's really tear me up.

I know the feeling Scott. In my case, parting with the Georgia Northerns I had many years ago still rates as my biggest goof. A case of live and learn, I guess.

Georgia northerns? I don't think I've ever seen those. Got any spare pics laying around you can show us?

No, unfortunately. They were babies, and I usually like to put some size on them before photographing.
Brad, was that one of the ones you got @ Pasadena? So much cool stuff there, I can't remember. She's a great looking snake.

Yep, but the breeder lives only 2 miles away.
