They're all nice but DAMN. That one is killer.

Thank you for the compliment.....
Check out the LONG thread below that started about 2 days ago.....
It is a yellow amelanistic Holbrooki that I got from Isis Reptiles. I plan on pairing her up with some wild collected Holbrooki from just north of here in Calhoun Co., TX....Todd (antelope) has a nice male for her this coming season...Their offspring will be nice yellow and black Speckled kings but will carry the yellow amel trait....I hope to eventually produce some like her in a few years....

as always, the axanthic splendies do for me and the het whitewalls are probably the cleanest specks around. That amel is hotter than the midday sun in August!!! john, I suggest you give blinders away with every purchase!

do you have a photo of that animal as a baby? I'm not sure if it's the one from below, but I took that neonate photo as an offspring of this adult. Very interesting -- not discrediting anything at all -- but I just wondered what it looked like as a baby is all. Thanks.

Mike at Isis Reptiles sent me this picture of one of her offspring from last year.....He said he purchased 6 amels and two of them turned yellow over time(I got one)...
Here's a pic of her offspring last year.....

I think that offspring is proof enough that there isn't any "banana king" in it....I see no other influences other than holbrooki.....Isis sold these offspring as pure holbrooki...Isis sold this adult yellow amel as a holbrooki so I guess Thomas is again judging their integrity.....

I never judged or questioned their integrity john why do you keep LIEING?. just answer the question did mike produce that animal? or did he buy raise and then sell you that animal IE he has/had no prior history. its a simple question wtf???

What color is the sky in your friggin world Thomas?...
I've said many times that he did not produce it....Look at the very first post concerning this animal...
They sold this one and have another that turned yellow...They sell offspring from these as pure holbrooki and that's all they work with is pure Holbrooki...
So you ARE attacking their integrity!
Give him a call...he will certainly straighten you out....Or maybe not....cause it is like talking to the wall....

"so theres no known traceable lineage on this animal so marketing offspring from it as pure trueblue holbrooki would be MISrepresentation"

So what's with all the "true-blue" holbrooki talk if they are all the same??

Do you even know which way is up?

There are so many holes in every attempt you make to contradict this issue, that it is beyond comprehension.

I got news for ya bro!, much of the stuff YOU sell gets misrepresented down the line FAR MORE OFTEN than this particular snake ever could. Here is just ONE simple example, although I could name many more, but let's just stick to ONE sice it might be easier for you to comprehend here.

Your Pine and Bullsnake crosses. You don't think any of those or their offspring can/will get misrepresented later on after they have left your friendly little vendor table????,....please!!

If you think for one second the answer no, you are even more lost than I first thought.

So let's hear more about your cross preaching hear, because I'm sure you will continue anyway, right?..LOL!

ooohh, the irony!

" i could care less about ssp. i feel the same about pituophis."

Of course you don't care about Pituophis(or any other types either), your breeding practices continue to prove that. But it does piss many others off, because it makes undescernable young that cannot be accurately identified whatsoever. Does someone like YOU care about that?,...of course not!, as long as you can continue to amuse yourself and see what simple possibilities come out of an egg, that's all that matters to you. And you preach to other's about responsibility???..LOL!, put down the friggin' coloring books and crayons long enough see the point here dude!

At least that was simple enough, case closed!..LOL!

You are truly a piece of work bro. Not only do you cause a huge percentage of the very thing you are trying to argue about, but you even like to poke and jab others for their carefully thought out breeding projects.

So reach down into your snake pillowcase and breed the next two snakes that you just happen to pull out, it makes just as much sense as half the ones you come up with on your own anyway. A Northern Pine x Southern Pine breeding should make some very exciting specimens..LOL!!

The guys over on the Pituophis forum curse guys like you, and with good reason too!.

I think you just enjoy throwing a wrench into things, that's all. That's all I have EVER seen from you.

yeah ok douggy like you would know... FYI i had a GREAT time visiting/partying with john melzer, and randy whittington in daytona. i also am very good friends with the cherry's both john and john jr. and have been for about 10yrs. i beleive them folks know pituophis. so why dont you run along with your crayons and TRY and bully someone else with your lies. it truly is funny how puppy dog like you are in person and how tough you ACT on these boards its quite comical actually, now that i think about it its really rather sad. keep trying to dog me and my animals doug just keep TRYING. a piece of advise for you not that you will listen im sure you will dismiss it with some wannabe amusing veiled threat or something derogatory pertaining to me, my animals, my business, my spelling,etc.etc. cuz thats HOW YOU ROLL you will get the LAST word and thats fine I DONT CARE but here it is douggy... you mess with the bull you get the horns.
enough is enough.
you can carry-on without me im done.

>actually nobody knows what "it" is other trueblue GETULA. its my understanding isis didnt produce that animal and just raised and then brokered it,(is that right?) cuz see theres a bit of a differance there... BIG differance actually... so why keep bringing who you got it from up? it has nothing to do with the actual lineage of said animal?!?!?
calling and marketing offspring from "it" as trueblue pure holbrooki without knowing the full lineage history is false and misleading. especially for the purist who want natural trueblue pure holbrooki, i suppose when/if you do get amels from it by todds speck that will make them locale specific holbrooki as well(and my education level is always brought up roflmao)...oh the humanity!
but i do agree its very pretty and more like it need to be made for the hobby. and i sincerely do wish you luck with all of your snakes and breedings.
getula do rule and after all, we are all getula heads here...aint we?
remember getula is getula is getula to me but im the minority with that thinking many want trueblue pure ssp.and worship taxonomy as a religion is it fair to them to propagate unknowns and pass them as pure? where is the line drawn? way i see it is you are either honest or your not in the representation of your animals its simple as that.

No Thomas that won't fly, they won't be Calhouns because nobody but me and Lloyd Heilbrun has any. It will be marketed as pure holbrooki, I imagine, much to your chagrin. John believes it, I believe it and the rest of the world is making up their own minds as we speak, lol! Crap Thomas, they aren't even bred yet, wtf? If you want some your probably making it harder to get on the list, lol! I love ya' like a brother! If you want some 100% locality getula of the speckled phenotype, you know where to get them! You know lots of places to get them! but you are welcome to mine if that's what you are into. If I make those black morphs outts this line, I hope you can take my word for it, as I have laid it all out on the line here for all to see. if not, that's cool, more power to ya'!

FINE whatever im done.

No one ever said they would be marketed as such, John wouldn't do that nor I. We both wouldn't let the other do that. What was stated was we want to use the yellowest snake to get the end result, and oh yeah, known holbrooki. If you cannot see it is a holbrooki, just be content to know it is pure getula. I don't know why it bothers you, you said it is pure getula in your opinion, why would it matter to you if we all believe it to be holbrooki? I'd use that snake to make yellow snakes any day, and I'd use it all day long to make yellow holbrooki. I held it, I looked at it, I believe it. To be overly concerned about what it is marketed as, shows you believe us both to be dishonest. I resent that, and I know John really does. Purist smurist, locality is what matters to me Thomas when I sell my snakes to anyone.
