Breeding?

Bslugger551 Nov 17, 2009 10:09 PM

This is my first year breeding boas, ive heard its a lil different than breeding colubrids as ive done before. Ive uploaded some picture of what appears to be a pair of my albinos breeding. The male has been trying to breed for the past few days and i think they have finally bread but its hard to tell without actually seeing copulation. Any thoughts? thanks

He is definately courting. Boas take a while, so make sure to leave him in until she ovulates and he loses all interest. You're off to a good start.

Awsome, its exciting watching them because they are different from colubrids in the way they act when breeding. What do you think about breeding one male boa to 2 females? Is that a bad idea? Thank
