LONG wings, the young comes out of the dirt, go into a chrysalys, then growns wings breeds, and dies leaving a big fat oval shaped body (1-1.5" long, wings a little longer than the body)
I do know that I was told Frogs LOVE them, so maybe, but I think it would be a bit on the *GULP* big side

They are often called Leaf Bugs, king of like stick bugs, but they have a back end that realistically clones a leaf. I see them around here in Georgia quite often, very beautiful insects.

That is a cicada, you hear them during the summer. A katydid is the noise you hear at night. They are these big green leaf like grasshoppers which live in the trees. My WTF loves to eat the smaller male ones.
Well make me blush, I thought they were the same thing
guess U CAN teach an old dog new tricks (or an old Boi Major new info)
Thanks
