Size question

doc2b Nov 18, 2009 10:41 AM

Hey guys, been quite sometime since i posted round here.

I got a hatchling in 2007. She has been doing well and growing like a weed. I'm curious to when they reach their typical max size and at what weight do they typically max out at. I'm slow feeding her as I dont feel the need to power feed my critters. I dont have a current weight on her but I plan on getting that later today.

Thanks a bunch.

Usually 3-4 years of age they will reach full adult size...though they may still grow very slowly after that, both in length and girth, depending on whether its over fed or not...(adults can get fat fairly easily, if fed too often).

My 5'9" foot female BRB maxed out in length around her 4th year. Her heaviest weight was 3100g though I found she was a bit overweight at that measurement. She looked better when she dropped to about 2950g.
