New rescued BP! Need some advise....

alcade08 Nov 19, 2009 02:33 PM

I have this rescue Ball Python! This is my first BP and I have him set up in a 60 gal terrarium. I have a hide spot that has a humidity level of 80% and the rest of the tank maintains a humidity of 75% to 85%. Temp is 85 to 90 on one side and 75 to 85 on the other. I also have a large soak disk that maintains a temp of 75. My question is this enclosure adequate for a female to be placed with him? I have never had a small python before. There are two finger type scale or something at the rear vent. I assume this is a male do to this and his small size. Am I correct on this? From my research I tried to give him the best I could. Any advise would only help me to better educate myself as I will keep him as long as he lives. Thanks Alcade…

I have pics but not sure how to load them......Any advise?

60 gallons will be large enough to hold 2 BP's, as for the spurs both males and females have those so dont base it off that... as for uploading pics it looks like you need to use something like photobucket... hope this helps...
