I think I might have made one. I had a clutch of Black Pewter to Pastel Butter and we had 4 eggs. One egg had a striped animal in it, cream colored body and yellowish stripe...... dead in the egg. Another was a sterling, dead in the egg. I had an incubator spike I didn't catch. Really devasting year overall. I didn't even post anything this year I was so overwhelmed with bad stuff. The other 2 eggs lived, one is a black pastel male, the other I thought was a black pewter. Then it shed and colored a bit and I thought black butter. Now it's shed a few more times and I'm really starting to think Pastel-Butter-Black Pastel. If no one has made one, this may be my only chance to ever name a morph. SO I hope someone can help. I'll post pics after I read some responses. If someone has one, please post a pic so I have a comparison please. Thank you a head of time.

you could name it "Putter"

It was made with a lesser x pastel x black pastel and was named the pewter lesser and since the lesser and butter are the same morph just different lines a quick answer to your question is yes it has been made and did not get a fancy name and it shouldn't get one as there are too dang many names out there. People need to get off their ego trip by wanting to name something. If you want to name a morph, spend the money and get something new from africa. Every new combo does not need a new name.

First of all.... to whichever Hutto wrote the last post. Your opinion is your opinion and I agree with you for the most part. But for a small breeder like me to have MAYBE made something no one else had, that would be my only chance of naming something that would represent my achievements as I can not and will not ever import something from Africa nor will I be able to afford to do so. Also, next time you reply to a message that was just a simple question, you should try not to sound like such a demanding, angry, control freak. If naming things tick you off, then you call it what it is genetically and we'll call it what we name it. It seems that's what we do now anyway.

Also if a Lesser and a Butter are the same, then tell one or the other to change their names and make them all the same. Why don't you call Ralph and tell him to change the name of his goblin to yellowbelly and his lesser to butter and his platty daddy to platinum butter? Because you won't and because he'll tell you to go.... I think you get the picture. Pick on the little people. That's good PR for your business.

As far as I'm concerned now, the Pastel-Butter-Black Pastel is a first and I'm naming it the Angry Hutto Ball!!!!!! Or the Scrooge Ball because that's who Hutto reminds me of, Scrooge to Christmas is Hutto to naming ball pythons. Good job guys, I don't know if you ever produced a first, but you have a ball python named after you. "The Angry Hutto Ball"

LMAO, that is one entertaining post. I am not angry at anything. And for the record I have talked to Ralph and said that the goblin name should go, and said that butters and lessers are the same, I've told Anthony McCain he should call his mystics phantoms, and told Tom Carlton to call his "thunders" vanillas. As far as if I have created anything new, I am working with a couple of things that I got from africa for good prices and they have proven genetic, it's just I have to finish breeding them out to see if the super is anything already in existance. If it is than I will call them what ever the existing name is, if not I will call it the "Happy Hutto ball", lol.

Agreed, Grandmother always said if you aint got anything nice to say keep it to yourself for gods sake. Wally name it after yourself.......the Harlin ball. Yes every new combo has to have a unique name, new rule. Best of luck to all this new breeding season. Take care. Andrew

But I wish him luck in finding a name that he likes.
Angry or Happy Hutto Ball...both are funny.

I wont need too much help naming new morphs or combos...
(But, I do think the "Harlin Ball" has a nice ring to it...I'll let you know if that name sticks, when I am ready to unveil one of the new morphs I am playing with.) lol.

I got a kick out of the above posts. Funny stuff.
Isn't it interesting how we sometimes try to read emotions into the writings of others.
Perhaps the mood of the reader has as much to do with the emotion of the writing... as do the words selected by the writer?

Maybe re-reading the posts while in a different frame of mind will leave you with a different perception of the intent of the writing.
Keep in mind....
Too much Egg Nog will leave you in a "BALL OF CONFUSION". LOL.
