Where do I buy Silk Worms?

masterplan May 25, 2003 01:59 PM

Hello again,

While I'm here, I hear about Silk Worms as good food for Chameleons....my questions are:

1) Are silkworms good for 3 month old chameleons? If not, what age should I introduce them?

2) Where can I buy some? I do have Mulberry trees right here a few doors away from my house so I'm good on a leaf supply...now I just need some silkworms!

Please let me know.

Hi- Silkworms can be fed to any size/age chameleon, you just have to get the correct size worms. You can get them in bulk @ www.mulberryfarms.com or if you only need small #'s you can get them on www.ebay.com just do a search for silkworms. All chameleons love them and they are the BEST staple diet you can feed your animals.

Hope this helps!
