Received this AZ Glossy female from a friend and allaround great herp guy last year, and I just love this little snake. Mellow to handle, and has eaten like champ right out of the wild! Definitely one of the faves in my collection!

let's hear it for the less common NA snakes! That's pretty.
Thanx, guys. They are a very underrated NA snake in the pet trade. As far as I've experienced w/ both the AZ and CA types they are extremely easy to care for.

I agree,...I've always heard they are a very easy and hardy snake as well. I just don't get why you don't see more of them in the hobby.
I remember many years ago, a friend of mine had a sort of freckled "calico" specimen. But I don't have a clue as to what ever became of it, or any possible project regarding it either.
