I just want to say I'm glad no ones feelings were hurt from the thread that spawned this one. No one meant any harm and it's nice to see we all have a sense of humor.

If you want to catch up, read the thread half a page down that says, "Pastel-Butter-Black Pastel an1 mae 1?" You'll understand all of this then.

Here is the pic if I remember how to do this properly. It is from breeding a Balck Pewter to a Pastel Butter. Any thoughts on what anyone thinks the genetics may be?

looks like a pewter to me...a very nice one at that! Probably not a pewter butter though.

That is the 2 other blacp pewters the dad fathered with the animlas in question. Do you still think it's just a nice pewter? I'm thinking Butter/Black pastel at the least, no?

id say its more than a black pewter but you'll never know for sure until you prove it outttt pretty either way

I still say its a nice pewter. The reason I say that is because seeing a butter pewter myself (can't seem to find a pic) and looking at pics of lesser pewters and sterling pewters, the pattern tends to be more crisp and solid and not as much fading out like with regular pewters such as yours. That would be sweet if it is a butter pewter but I just don't see it being one.

A picture of the head might help. But for now, my guess is Black Pewter Butter. I've seen Black Butters and they don't look like that, so I think there is some pastel influence going on.

I'd say after looking at that picture it could be very possible you have an "Angry Hutto" Just have to prove it out and see though.
