So I was glancing around as I was surfin' the web, and came upon this.

This caption below the pic really made me laugh..LOL! It went as follows, misspelling and all..........

"Anerthrystic triple het extreme snow Honduran Milk Snake"

The person probably just wants to cover all the bases...but it is funny how people do not really realize what they are saying and how wrong they are stating it. You sometimes just shake your head and say, "what the ...?" LOL..

Yeah,....the person certainly "covered all the bases" there, except one very obvious one, they apparently didn't mention it was a ghost, OR the hypomelanism trait that it has either..LOL!

That reminds me of a boa constrictor book I have, that had a pic of a very obvious salmon hypo, and the caption next to it read..."this common boa is double heterozygous for "ghost", a cross between hypomelanistic, and anerythristic specimens."

In reality, it should have simply said.."this boa is heterozygous for anerythrism "ghost", since it was ALREADY hypomelanistic in the first place..LOL!

Anyway, yeah, it's funny how people get confused with genetics, and the proper terminology.
