need a little help here

I was wanting to post a picture of what I thought to be an emoryi rat....but considering my ignorance it's probably a cobra or something.
any help here?

That's a very cleanly marked one... My favorite kind ... I say this because I’ve seen hundreds across their range that are very drab (which, of course, probably helps them survive, since Emory’s often move around on the surface, exposed to predators.
Do you have any dependable location info on its heritage, Jimmy?

I hope you know I was just being a smart ass...
Actually he is probably my favorite emoryi and is the father of my pretty little albino emoryis.
I love his markings.
And in truth I didn't get any locale info when I got him.

I like the abberencies on that one Jimmy! Stay away from the face though! It looks packed full of venom, lol! And the tail has a stinger, too!
