To everyone in NC / VA area..... Not beardie related

BeginnersBasics Sep 18, 2003 12:22 PM

Everyone in the north eastern NC area and also the Tidewater area of VA. Just wanted to let you know my thoughts are with you and stay SAFE!!!

I have relatives in Va beach, Portsmouth, and Norfolk and also just north of there in Delaware so I have been keeping a pretty close eye on things.

Seems like right now the tidewater area is getting the most of this storm, which makes sense since most of the "power" of these storms tends to run on the north west edges...... Keep in mind though.... It was a cat 5 and thankfully is now only a cat 2 storm.

Please post and let us know you all and your beardies made it through this (after you get power back)

God bless and be safe.

I am in N.C, but I am in the mountains and I don't think we're going to see very much of the storm. So far it's a beautiful day here...

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone else in the areas where the storm is-- Please Stay Safe!!

I'm in Fredericksburg, Va area. Its pouring and starting to blow pretty good. Don't think we'll be getting much sleep as the eye won't get here until after midnight. Expect to loose power, but got motivated to finally get generator running. Wife thinks I did it for her. Really was to keep beardies warm.

my parents in toronto canada are afraid of getting the tail end of this thing and loosing power again, they lost so many of their chichlids last time and have since been trying to buy an generator with no luck, they are all sold out, even the battery operated tank pumps/filters are all sold out. well hopefully everyone and their animals will be alright.

We're in Lexington, NC. Didn't experience the eye of the storm......mostly heavy rains & high winds. No damage here........all 27 dragons hanging in there. Thanks Lisa for your thoughts & prayers (everyone else included also). Our thoughts & prayers go out to everyone else up the northern coast from TBKDragons.
