Was cleaning cages and thought I'd snap a few pics!I've been thinking all along that a dark spot on the side of this girls neck was an old scar, turns out it's just a dark spot!lol! Jeff

I hope to breed these one day but,not at the moment.I see alot of these but, most of them won't eat mice and end up being released. Now if I could be so lucky to find a male that will eat that would be nice! Take care! Jeff

The key there is rat pups, start with live no problem.

Thanks! Hope to get a chance to try that! Jeff

Jeff,.....Mark Kenderdine(CrimsonKing)has several different locales of calligasters, and others have them as well, so you shouldn't have much trouble locating a nice looking Mole that feeds well.

I goota say, that sure is a nice looking one bro!

Very cool. I love Moles and Prairies. Wish they'd be featured more on here.

I used to catch a lot of prairie kings in North Central TX. Most were brown but a few were nice green ones. A few with a good amount of twin spotting. I caught a couple with a cool reddish/brown almost deep blood red looking blotches.

Wow-love the moles, especially locality animals. I've noticed over the years that our tastes in snakes are very similar, Jeff!
