Funny...my pair are just like yours (our albinos are males and our female are normal het albino? well mine are). You're right they are underrated and I just happen to love'em. I just love their head and their even robust body. Your albino is nicer than mine lol.

You know Todd.....Out of all the species of snakes in our area Prarie Kings are the ONLY snake I never found in the wild.....
If you know where to find some let me know cause I have to check that one off my found list.....LOL

BTW....Mark I like Praries and Moles ALOT....I just need to find some room for them in my snake room...LOL
Great looking snakes!

Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

closest I have seen them to us is around Refugio/Goliad/Calhoun area. They are pretty common around Goliad.

You're 100% correct.. I have kept Prairie Kings (normal & albino) all very nice looking easy to keep and breed and they are all around great animals to work with... Possibly the most underrated of all the kings!

..yeah, and while I have had one or two spunky ones, generally they are very laid back and calm.

I could not agree with you more. I only have one juvenile pair but they are awesome snakes and I too don't think they get the attention the deserve.

Like many snakes, I like the prairies in their juvenile stage.
Mine were just turning golden w/maroon saddles at that age. Subtle but very very nice.

In-freakin'-credible! What is that male, albino! Wow! I love that snake! Where did you get him!?

I had lost my old male that was het/albino but still had a female much like the first pic when a friend gave me the female in that photo. (both of them are het/albino)
He told me a shop close by had the albino male ...so...I had to have him, right?
