I recently found a very nice piece of wood that I would like to use as a hide spot for my Sinaloans, the problem is I think at one time it may have been used as a railroad tie, it is very nicely rounded with some moss on it, it would really be an asset to my aquarium, but it spells of creosote and I am really a little leary of using it...........so what do you guys think? would it hurt them or not? Thanks

It looks like creosote is pretty nasty stuff... I wouldn't want any of my snakes breathing those vapors!
