Sexual maturity depends more on if the boa has filled out with its adult muscle mass. The size and weight depends on the age of the boa and its feeding regimine. According to Jeff Ronne and "The Boa Constrictor Manual" most boas start to fill after reaching 5 1/2 ft, at about 3 yrs of age. Some boas that are fed large amounts grow much longer and will take longer to fill out. Although this info doesn't answer your question I don't think there really is an average weight out there per say. It depends on your boa and how you feed it and care for it.

i think that the female should be atleast 6ft. apox 10-15lbs. this would typicaly mean 3yrs. old or so. it does depend on weight as well as mass. larger female are better i think but you have to meet the min. requirements first. i have them from 14lbs to 30lbs. others have larger...

.. There is no such thing as 'breeding weight'. This applies both to minimum size as well as to what is commonly referred to as 'breeding condition'..
