Possible flooding, to move the dragons, or not to move the dragons

That is the question. I have been debating this since last night. My basement doesn't usually flood, but it did a little duriung hurricane Floyd. My dragons are on the side of the basement farthest from where the water enters. I think it didn't get that far last time because we were bailing it out right as it came in. Two of the dragons' cages are directly on the floor level. I would probably put them all in boxes and move them for 24 hours or so, just in case we have to bail water out again I don't want to have to worry about them. I'm just not sure about it though. Would you move them just in anticipation, or would you leave them until you were absolutely sure about the situation?

What ever you do, make sure extension cords, heating pads, lights and all power cables are where there is no possibility of them getting wet or in the water.

I'd move them, sure can't hurt, just a pain in the butt.

So I have decided to leave everyone where they belong. It started a lot later than expected. We do have a sump pump this time (which was put in a few days later, when deciding we didn't want that pain again.) If any water comes in though, they'll all go into boxes and upstairs. The power cords i'll at least throw on top of the big dragon house if it looks like anything will happen. If the water does come in, they are at the furthest point from where it would enter.
